Canadians Taking Action
Our MCF family in Canada actively raise awareness and funds to support our life-transforming work in Africa. You would be surprised how the simplest ideas - riding a bike, recyling, and even jumping in cold water - can make a huge impact for the Mully Children's Family and the children we care for. If you would like to plan your own fundraiser, get in touch with us and we'll send you materials and information to help: amy@mcfcf.ca.
Here are just three examples of how Canadians are taking action to make a difference in the lives of the 2,010 children and youth in the Mully Children's Family.
Milk it for Mully
A group of committed MCF friends in Grande Prairie organized a recycling campaign and raised over $43,000 for water sustainability initiatives at MCF. Learn more.
Tour for Life
Extreme cyclist Arvid Loewen biked over 8,000 km in 23 days and raised over $150,000 for food relief funds for the children at MCF. That's 3 times the distance of the Tour de France! Learn more.
Mully Polar Plunge
A group of crazy Calgarians chose to welcome 2010 by plunging into ice covered water during their first Mully Polar Plunge and raised over $3,000 for MCF. Click here to see the video.
