Christmas Greetings from Charles Mulli

Dear Friends,
This time, I am sending you Christmas greetings from Kelowna, Canada where I am with Esther, our biological children Dickson and Mueni and the MCF North American Mission Choir team, who are part of our big MCF family. We are now preparing to leave for home to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior and are scheduled to arrive in Kenya 4 days before Christmas.
Christmas greetings may mean different things to different people in different cultures. One thing is that the celebration always brings hope to many people in the world.
For many years, MCF has never had such a great festive season with glorious feelings in the hearts of many in MCF and in Kenya as a whole as God through His grace has crowned it by providing abundance of rain, of which to many people is a special and the best Christmas gift. I have just received a report from home that the Thika River which passes through the MCF farm and that was completely dry 6 months ago is now full of water once again. The dams that we had constructed over the last few years are almost full with water. The people, old and young alike and animals that were once dying in the wild reserves now have renewed hope as water is available for them and for agricultural development. This is something that we have been hoping and praying for the last 3 years. God has surely given us a true Christmas and I want to urge you to rejoice together with us.
The entire Ndalani and Yatta communities as well as our country men just planted some crops though there will be a delay in harvesting them as they are still very young and they look forward to a harvest towards the end of January 2010. Please pray that God will give us enough rains to sustain us for a long period of time which will allow us to have enough food for all in MCF and within the surrounding community.
We can never thank each and every one of you enough for your dedication, commitment and support towards our efforts in providing food and water for the hungry and thirsty within our community and society, especially this year when we were faced with great uncertainty as we had the food shortage and water crisis in our country. It has been through your prayers and financial support that we have come this far. We could never have achieved all of the success recorded in MCF over the years without you.
Thank you!
May the Lord bless the work of your hands and be gracious to you during this Christmas holiday; that He may make yet more years for you to live as I anticipate for a great and good year 2010.
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful, Counsellor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace….” Isaiah 9:6
I wish you a blessed Christmas and Happy New Year 2010!!
Yours sincerely,
Ev.Dr.C.M.MULLI
