MCFCF CHILD SPONSORSHIP - JOIN THE FAMILY
Twenty years ago, Charles and Esther Mulli opened their home to three street children who had no access to food, water, education, health care or a safe place to sleep.
That was the start of the Mully Children’s Family, which has since taken the hands of 5,000 orphaned and abandoned children and walked them through their journey to adulthood.
By the time a child has grown through the MCF family, their gifts have been nurtured and they have received the education and training to empower them to become contributing members of their families, communities and country.
Today, we invite you to join the family as a Child Sponsor by donating a monthly gift of $35 or more.
Child Sponsorship is not a new concept, and has a proven track record of changing the lives of children and sponsors. MCFCF’s view of child sponsorship has its roots in an African proverb: It takes a village to raise a child. While you will be sponsoring and sharing the journey with an individual child, your donations are pooled with those of other MCFCF sponsors to provide care for all 2,000 children at the Mully Children’s Family.
MCF offers extensive rehabilitation to help the children recover from the desperate environments they were rescued from. Some children need medical intervention, others are battling addictions and many suffer the trauma of years of sexual abuse. In addition the number of children under the care of MCF calls for an extensive level of infastructure. Because of this, each sponsorsed child can have multiple sponsors to provide for the comprehensive care the children receive.
When you join the family, you'll initially receive the photograph and profile of an MCF child. TO ensure you continue to be updated on the profess of your MCF sponsored child, you will also receive an annual letter from your child as well as an annual update. In addition, MCFCF will provide you with a semin annual newsletter containing information on how Canadians are making a different in the lives of the children under the care of MCF.
